We are very proud to say that to date we have successfully certified more than 60 pool and surf lifesaving students. We encourage dedicated individuals who meet the necessary criteria to apply for our training programmes. Oceans Alive Maritime Training Academy embarked on focused skills development programs in January 2021, to train and qualify pool and surf lifesavers from Imizamo Yethu (IY) and from the Harbour area of Hout Bay in the Western Cape, South Africa, to enable them to become qualified and eligible to work as LSA Pro Lifeguards for the City of Cape Town and for various other local and overseas based organizations.
